ATTORNEY AMANDA K. RIEK
Attorney Amanda K. Riek graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with comprehensive honors in 2008 earning a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a certificate in Leadership. She received her Juris Doctor with a certificate in criminal law from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 2011.
Attorney Riek has devoted her entire legal career to the practice of criminal defense including work with the Wisconsin Innocence Project and over a decade of service as an Assistant State Public Defender. Attorney Riek is a board member of the Wisconsin Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (WACDL); a founding member of the WACDL Women’s Caucus; holds several roles with the National College of DUI Defense (NCDD) including the State Delegate for Wisconsin, the chair of the Ethics Committee, and a member of the Trial Advocacy Committee; a member of the Legal Association for Women (LAW); and a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (NACDL).
